Stairway Lifts: Installation Process

Our simple installation processes is what our customers appreciate most about DiGregorio Stairlift.

We start by providing a free in-home consultation to asses your needs and make sure that we can accommodate you.

We are licensed in the Oregon, Washington and Idaho and provide installation, permitting/inspection and service/repair for stairway lifts.

In-Home Consultation

We are a local company and install all stairway lifts that we sell.

Prior to installation, we provide a free, in-home consultation that serves two purposes:

  1. By coming out to your home, we are able to confirm that it meets our minimum installation requirements as will as help you choose which of our stairway lifts would be the best fit.
  2. We can meet you and answer remaining questions you may have before installation.

Before we come out to your home, please confirm that your home meets our Installation Requirements.

Installation Requirements

  • Electrical outlet at the top or bottom of your stairway.
  • Minimum stairway width of 30 inches.

Professional Installation

Stairway lifts must be installed by licensed technicians.  We are certified to install stairway lifts in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

If you’ve considered having a non-licensed technician install you stairway lift, you’ll want to read this article before going any further.

We’ve got stairway lift installation down to a science with the average installation taking only 2-4 hours.

All stairway lifts that we sell come with a manufacturer’s warranty.  We provide routine maintenance and repair services to keep our customers stairway lifts safe and in good, working order.

Permitting & Final Inspection

Permitting can be a difficult and time consuming process.  Don’t worry, we take care of everything.  We gather and fill out all the required state permits for submission.

Permitting is VERY important.

Your warranty is void if your installation cannot pass inspection.  In order for stairway lifts to pass inspection, the installation MUST have been completed by a licensed installer.

We handle all aspects of coordinating and supervising the state inspection and guarantee that all stairway lifts that we install will pass.
